Friends,
It's Sunday. The light is long now. The world did another week.
Some of it was beautiful. Some of it was hard. Most of it passed without us catching up.
That's why we do this.
Eight minutes tonight, at 8 PM your local time, wherever you are. Not to make sense of the week. Not to arrive anywhere. Just to sit, and let the week sit with us, alongside others doing the same thing in their own kitchens, gardens, beds, trains.
You don't have to believe in anything. You don't have to feel ready. Show up as you are. Even skeptical. Even tired. Even distracted.
By the time Lisbon begins, the wave has already moved through Tokyo, through Delhi, through Athens. When Lisbon finishes, it keeps going, through São Paulo, New York, Los Angeles. The wave is older than our Sunday. We just join where we can.
See you later, in the silence.
Dedication: May any goodness from these eight minutes be for peace. May the week that passed rest gently. May the week ahead arrive softly.
