Friends,
The solstice. The longest day in the north, the shortest in the south: the whole Earth tilted toward one pole of the year.
Eight minutes tonight. 8 PM your local time. Wherever the light falls for you today, long or short, sit inside it for a while and let some of it stay.
Because the practice moves with the hour, it is always eight o'clock somewhere. A rolling wave, once around the Earth, every week.
Come as you are. Even bright. Even dim. Even turning.
See you later, in the silence.
Dedication: May this solstice leave a little of its light in us.
